Weholite Large Diameter HDPE Pipe<< Back to JFC Civils
The weholite pipe system uses specially fabricated high density polyethylene pipes to store the stormwater runoff. These pipes are interconnected at one end with bulk head type joints and a 90 degree elbow on the opposite end. Pipes are available in the following sizes – 750, 900, 1050, 1200, 1350, 1500, 1650, 1800, 2000, 2100, 2200, 2400, 2500,2600, 2800, 3000mm. These pipes can also be used to convey stormwater to and from the attenuation tank and are available in lengths of up to 14 meters. They can be easily installed in both trafficked and non trafficked areas. |
Inspection and Maintainence Stormwater enters the tank through the inlet manhole at the same pipe diameter as the carrier pipe, the water then flows through the pipe network with the pipes installed at the required gradient. Access manholes can be installed as required along the pipe network where necessary which allows easy access for maintenance if required. This system only works as an impermeable attenuation tank and is often used in areas where there is a very large amount of contamination in the stormwater runoff, the joints can be sealed with flex seal couplers and can be also be internally welded on site during installation. |
